New Mom and Mom-To-Be Groups
As
a new mom and Hoboken resident, Ariele recognized
the need for a support network within the community. She craved real,
functional information and tools in a comfortable and nurturing environment. Whether
just getting together and having lunch in a place where the babies can
relax, crawl, sleep by the waterfall (or have a tantrum if need be), or discussing topics such as
breast-feeding, vaccinations and losing the baby weight, the New Mom
Group is a great way to meet other moms and discuss your fears,
worries, hopes and goals.
We plan Mommy and Me Yoga classes,
Infant Massage Workshops and Fertility workshops. We also host Childbirth Education Classes, PreNatal Care Workshops and more...
Kamini Patel, L.Ac discusses treating childhood illnesses using natural remedies and hosts a Q&A the first Thursday of each month at noon.
We host the Hoboken Attachment Parenting Meetings on the last Friday of each month at 2pm.
Call 201 526 4684 for more information.
Hoboken Home-Birth Support Team
When
Ariele first heard that a friend was having a home-birth, she was
surprised and impressed that such an option even existed, and was
actually regaining popularity. After reading up on the benefits of
home-births versus hospital births, and hearing about her friend’s
beautiful experience, Ariele decided to have a home birth herself.
If
you’re considering having a home birth, we can arrange a get-together
with other Hoboken moms who have chosen the home-birth route. We’ll
introduce you to different midwives and doulas, and you’ll be the first
to know about our childbirth education classes and Newborn Care. We’ll
try our best to answer all of your questions, address all your fears
and concerns, and help you make the best decision for you and your
baby. Whether you ultimately decide to have a home-birth, or just learn
more about natural childbirth and the pros and cons of medical
interventions, contacting the Support Team is a fantastic way to keep
yourself informed.
